For most of our adult lives, we’ve lived in busy cities in Central Florida. When we met in 2016, we shared a passion for one day owning a beautiful piece of land that would allow us to not only live our own lives sustainablly, but provide the opportunity to share what we had with our community. In 2020, just 5 days after our wedding, we moved from our tiny city apartment without even a porch to call our own, to our now 10 acre homestead! Since then, we have continued to work towards our dreams of a self-sustainable lifestyle and in July 2022, Dan made the big decision to leave the corporate world to work on the farm full time! And so, OffBeat Acres began!
In our quest to be good stewards of the land and build relationships in our community, we entered into this journey of pastured poultry. Like many, we’ve felt the pressure and frustration of not having a choice in where our food comes from due to the continued consolidation of the food industry. We believe that as a community, we shouldn’t have to rely on an inconsistent food supply chain to sustain ourselves, and that through the relationships farmers and consumers build together we can have more choices and ultimately live healthier lives. These beliefs are what motivated us to start this venture, and will continue motivate us to scale our business so that we have the capacity to support as many members of our central Florida community as possible.
WE'RE OBSESSED WITH OUR CHICKS!
Chicks don’t like stress! So, we raise them with care in a comfortable environment and design all our daily operations and interactions with them to make sure they are happy, healthy, and safe.
Our chicks are fed high quality, non-GMO feed and are moved daily for fresh forage on dedicated pasture
When the time comes, our chickens are ethically harvested and prepared on our farm, then delivered by us to a convenient location close to you. A literal Farm to Table experience!

Off Beat Acres is a 10 acre homestead in Groveland, Florida.
We are proud to offer pasture raised, ethically harvested chickens that are 100% non-GMO, antibiotic, and hormone free! We value our land and wish to lovingly use it to provide an affordable and accessible food source for our community.
